HABITAT
FOUND developed the signage, wayfinding, and environmental graphics for Habitat, one of Los Angeles' most ambitious mixed-use campuses — a live-work-thrive destination rising at the city's geographic center, where Culver City meets the heart of LA. Set on three-and-a-half transit-oriented acres beside the La Cienega/Jefferson Metro station, Habitat weaves together a 12-story residential tower, a six-story creative office building, and an acre of integrated parkland into a single, walkable ecosystem built to galvanize the content capital of the world.
The program reflects the project's environmental ambition. Habitat is designed to achieve LEED Platinum and Fitwel certification for its creative workspace and LEED Gold for its residences, part of an all-electric campus targeting net-zero carbon. FOUND's identity and wayfinding carry that spirit through the site — grounding a sustainable, nature-connected campus in a graphic language as considered as the architecture around it.
